Need a sport that’s cool, social and not too competitive?
Our Squad Classes develop:
– Healthy bodies
– Problem solving skills
– Confidence
– Social engagement
– Courage
Classes are indoors, so they run all year round.
You can ‘drop and run’ or stay and watch the class. Either way they’ll be excited to share their achievements after the class!
Our experienced coaches guide your child’s journey as the develop, introducing techniques as needed and ensuring your child understands how & when to apply these skills.
You are welcome to attend a casual class first to see if climbing is the right fit for your child.
Our Youth Squad climbing classes are split in to 2 age groups:
Senior Squad – 12-17 Years Old
Thursdays 4:30pm to 6:30pm
Saturdays 12:00pm to 2:00pm
Junior Squad – 6-11 Years Old
Tuesdays 4:30pm to 6:30pm
Saturdays 12:00pm to 2:00pm
Rockface Rockets 3-6 Years Old
Tuesdays 4:30pm to 5:30pm
Sunday 1:00pm to 2:00pm
Lead Squad (Capability/Assessment based)
Saturdays 2:00pm to 3:30pm
Adult Squad (16+)
Saturdays 3:30pm to 5:30pm
please note: ages are a guide only, it is up to the coaches discretion as to whether younger/older kids are allowed into the class.

Squad Classes aged 6-11 + 12-17
$34 per class
Squad Classes aged 3-6 (Rockets)
$26 per class
Please register your child before your visit if they haven’t been to Rockface before.

- How do I book + Pay?

Do I need to stay and watch my child?
You are of course free to watch, however it's not required. you are able to use this time to do a food shop, grab some fuel, or even have a little rest.
The only class this would not be the case in would be the lead climbing class if your child is under the age of 12, this class requires that parents of kids under 12 belay them due to insurance.

Am I too old?
Our Adult Classes have no upper age limit, you're never too old to have some fun getting fit and healthy!

I'm not sure if climbing is right for me/my child. Can i do a trial class before committing to 10+ classes?
There is the option of doing a casual class which is priced at
- $35/class for the lead climbing class
- $39/class for the rockface rockets (3-6 years)
- $42/class for the Junior, Senior and Adult Classes -
What do we need to bring?
If you have your own climbing gear you are welcome to use your own, otherwise we will provide climbing harnesses, shoes and chalk bags to use during class time.
You will need to bring a water bottle, we also sell water if you forget. Climbing is thirsty work!
