FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS

• What will I need?

  You should be confidently climbing 18s on top rope (i.e. consistently reaching the top without resting or falling).

  We recommend having your own lead climbing gear, however, we do have vertical loop harnesses, shoes, ropes and belay devices that you can use during the course and that can be hired on future visits. All lead courses include a 15% discount on gear in our proshop if you would prefer to have your own gear.

• How do I book?

  Please see our friendly staff at our front desk or email rockface@rockface.com.au to discuss a suitable time and date. Courses are run by demand. Due to the nature of lead climbing, we need 2 students minimum. We're happy to partner up individuals who both want to do the course, or book in with your regular partner and learn the skills together.

• How much does it cost?

  Our 2-hour course only costs $120 and you’ll have been taught safe climbing techniques that will stand you in good stead for the rest of your climbing days. Who can put a price on that?
