Rockface offers your group the highest level of compliance with the Education Department's Organisational Guidelines for Physical Education and Outdoor Education (EDWA 1996, pp 2-52 - 2-54).

Our daytime staff members hold current St John Ambulance Senior First Aid certificates (or equivalent). We use only 10mm dynamic ropes and height-adjustable floor-mounted belay anchors on all top-rope climbs; all top-ropes run over 'slow-go' pulleys. Rockface uses only Gri-Gri belay devices so no friction is transferred to the belayer's hands. For added safety, we have impact-absorbing landing surfaces under our top-rope climbs.
