Our daytime staff members hold current St John Ambulance Senior First Aid certificates (or equivalent). We use only 10+mm dynamic or semi-dynamic ropes and height-adjustable floor-mounted belay anchors on all top-rope climbs; all top-ropes run over 'slow-go' pulleys. Rockface uses only Gri-Gri belay devices so no friction is transferred to the belayer's hands. For added safety, we have impact-absorbing professional gymnastic landing surfaces under our top-rope climbs.

Rockface maintains a 10-million dollar public liability insurance policy.
